Carpal tunnel and pregnancy?

I'm 31w5d and yesterday I started having this pain in my right elbow felt as bad growing pains. Well, I never got lost and now it gets even more painful than the elbow just not done. It's my right elbow over my arms and my wrist. I asked my mother and she said that pregnant women may be more prone to carpal tunnel. I spent much time on the computer lately so it would make sense. Does anyone have heard of this happening or have an idea of what might be wrong with my arm?

Yes, it is very common for pregnant women develop symptoms carpal tunnel syndrome. The reason is that the excess fluid accumulates in the carpal tunnel pregnancy for many women. It usually goes away after delivery. Not much you can do, besides reducing the activity and perhaps the application of ice in the region. You can try some exercises designed to relieve the symptoms. Secondly, there are always anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen, etc, reduce swelling and inflammation a bit but can not help because the problem here is the fluid pressure to create … and is likely to be pregnant not want to have something. You're more likely to be faced. If symptoms do not start to improve after delivery, you should talk to your doctor.
